Curiosity has bagged a meteorite!

Spirit and Opportunity found meteorites on Mars too, but Curiosity has found a real whopper.  It’s gigantic, at 2 meters across, and has a very clear meteoritic appearance.  It seems to be an iron meteorite (and thus very resistant to erosion, and conspicuous on the surface of Mars).  Curiosity will surely spend some time checking it out.  This image is a composite of images taken by MastCam and the ChemCam RMI instrument.
