SpaceX Completes Another Commercial Flight

The US is solidly back in the commercial satellite launch business.  😉  SpaceX successfully lofted AsiaSat 8 to geosynchronous transfer orbit in the wee hours of the morning on August 5, 2014.  Due to the high altitude requirement of this flight, there is no possibility of a first stage flyback demonstration, so this vehicle flew without landing legs (as it had no use for them, and they too would cut into payload margin).
