HemaVision: An Exciting New Option for Thermal Imaging

I posted about the crowd-funded consumer infrared imager called the HemaImager a while back.  It failed to reach its funding goal, so the team behind it has been working hard to improve their product.  Today, they’ve relaunched with the HemaVision, a much more robust solution that I think will be much more useful.  What’s more, they offer a wide range of options for modifying the device for other uses, such as a drone mount.  Keep an eye on this link — they have already met their initial goal, less than 24 hours after launch, and so are going to be posting stretch goals next.  It’s going to be exciting!

PS: I still want to find a way to get this working with my telescope.  😉  Prime focus in a reflector should, in theory, work just fine.  Next to find a suitable mountaintop….
