HemaImaging’s Kickstarter reached it’s goal on the first day . . . so now they’re upping the ante with some exciting stretch goals. The first one is six-foot drop testing. They already know the sensor can tolerate this drop, but the additional testing will tell them if the rest of the device can as well, and cover any redesign required. At $250,000 they’ll add a tough waterproof carrying case, at $350,000 they add a machine vision sensor to give the device even more utility, and at $400,000 they’ll waterproof the main circuitboard and make the entire device water resistant.
Let’s see how high it can go!
