Waiting for Pluto: just two more days!

Well, two days and ten hours. And then the time to downlink the first images.  But whoa, check this out!  This is the Charon-facing hemisphere of Pluto.  Well, mostly it’s the polar region, actually, but the spots at the bottom face directly at Charon all the time.  Which may or may not be coincidental.  We may learn more later.  But check this out!  This just came down today, and was taken at a distance of 4 million km.
