Expedition 44 to the ISS now has a full complement! Or, more accurately, it will in a few minutes. Soyuz TMA-17M launched successfully from Baikonur Cosmodrome about five and a half hours ago, and is currently easing its way in to dock with the International Space Station. On board are Soyuz commander Oleg Kononenko (Roscosmos), flight engineer Kimiya Yui (JAXA), and flight engineer Kjell Lindgren (NASA). Once they arrive, Expedition 44 will have all six of its crewmembers, as they will be joining commander Gennady Pedalka (Roscosmos), Mikhail Korniyenko (Roscosmos), and Scott Kelly (NASA), the latter two now well into their one-year stint. Of all these men, only Kimiya Yui and Kjell Lindgren are rookies.
